Host & History

Co-owner Guy Thomas is the creator of Satellite AIS, a technology used for global ship tracking that has had a major impact on maritime security worldwide. He has held roles as a researcher, developer, and tester of maritime security systems at Johns Hopkins University, as well as over 35 years of combined service in the US Navy, Air Force, and Coast Guard. The house is filled with antiques and memorabilia from these travels, and Guy shares stories with guests over breakfast.
